What are the benefits that Freelance Aircrew offers crew and employers?

Freelance Aircrew identified that many pilots sit on the ground when they would prefer to be flying and that operators regular lose money because they have insufficient personnel for surge, short-term and last-minute opportunities. Operators rarely have an abundance of HR management over and above their steady state requirements so when presented with short term problems they resort to handwritten lists or databases that reflect neither the full capabilities of personnel nor their availability. At Freelance Aircrew we offer surge and short-term scheduling support at a fraction of the cost of HR staff; we safely and securely store all pertinent data and provide reminders to crews to keep their documentation and availability up to date and accurate. We save you time, effort and money and are on hand to assist you 24/7, 365 days a year.

Do I have to supply all of the data requested?

No, but you must know that potential employers will 'size you up' and rank you against other prospective candidates purely by viewing your data and by consulting your references. The more information you provide, the more open, transparent and attractive you will appear. The more data provided, the more accurately and successfully you can be matched to the vast array of tasks. At Freelance Aircrew we are commercial pilots too. We have worked throughout the aviation sector, across the globe and hand-in-hand with a multitude of governments. In addition, we have also tested the data requirements with Private and Commercial operators of varying sizes. All of the data requested is necessary - we dislike unnecessary bureaucracy as much as anyone.
